The Final of the Vice President’s Cup was held today at St. Enodoc Golf Club between Debbie Cain of Newquay, and Emily Currie of Bude & North Cornwall. Emily won 7 & 5, but this score belies the standard of golf which was excellent. Although dry and sunny, there was a strong wind, especially to start with, which both players coped with extremely well. Debbie played some excellent shots, keeping the ball below the wind, but Emily managed to pip her with her length of ball and finally took the match on the 13th.
