Yesterday (Wednesday 12th November) of the Cornwall Ladies County Golf Association at Mawgan Porth GC, those present voted unanimously in favour of resolutions dissolving the CLCGA, forming a new company (Cornwall Golf Ltd), and transferring assets from the CLCGA to the new company. The meeting also approved an increase in the affiliation fee for 2026 to £15.
The decision of todays meeting will now be subject of ratification by delegates at an Extraordinary General Meeting of the CLCGA on Monday 1st December at Perranporth GC.
The next step in the Unification process is for the Cornwall Golf Union membership to approve similar resolutions at a meeting of their own on Thursday 27th November 2025 at Lanhydrock Hotel & Golf Club (7.00pm)
